Center/Chapel Plans
It is with great joy and excitement that we announce the 9th Star in the Crown of Our Lady, Queen of Peace, will be built on the campus of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Beloit, Kansas. The first Center designated in North or South America by Comunità Regina della Pace, it will be placed just 50 miles from the geographic center of the United States. This World Center of Prayer for Peace will be host to a custom Eucharistic Altar of Peace created by Drapikowski Studio of Poland and will offer 24/7 Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.
Phase One
Phase one of the project will include a beautiful chapel designed to complement the historic St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The chapel will sit within a landscape garden with a plaza and fountain at the center. Human beings are moved by beauty. It is our desire that the World Center of Prayer for Peace chapel and surrounding area will provide a beautiful spiritual encounter for those who visit; a place of hope, grace and ultimately peace that radiates from the heartland of the United States and motivates Christians of the world to intentionally pray for this peace in Eucharistic Adoration.
Phase Two
Phase two of the project is designed to accompany and enhance the spiritual experience of Eucharistic
Adoration. This phase will incorporate the addition of a Eucharistic Museum to serve as a powerful
witness of Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist and inspire pilgrims to fall deeply in love with their
Catholic faith and Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. An enlarged gift shop and bakery are also included in
phase two.
It is our prayer that with the completion of both phases, pilgrim’s hearts will be spiritually moved by the
Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and their minds will be enriched by the Biblical and historical
Eucharistic education presented in the museum.
