Adoratio Foundation believes the presence of a strong Eucharistic Adoration schedule in a parish is key to its spiritual foundation. Time in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is essential to a strong personal relationship with our Savior. However, parishes, and often priests themselves, may be intimidated or discouraged by the practical process of launching, filling, and then maintaining a Eucharistic Adoration schedule. As the pie chart below demonstrates, more than half of the United States Catholic churches do not offer any time with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration. There is most definitely room for growth and work to be done!
